DRY JOINT SYSTEM
This proven rain screen system features wall cavity ventilation and exceptional moisture protection. Laboratory tests show the air pressure difference between the wall cavities interior and exterior is less than 1%, ensuring optimal performance.
Moisture drains through strategically placed weep holes and the panel cavity allows for natural airflow, preventing moisture buildup beneath the panels. This efficient drainage system ensures longevity and performance, setting it apart from other products.
WET JOINT SYSTEM
In use since the early 1990s, this sealed system relies on rivets to attach panel returns, which are then secured to aluminum extrusions. A mid-clip system ensures easy installation by fastening the panel to the plywood sheathing or sub-girt frame. The sealed (caulked) system hides the rivets, maintaining a clean, sleek appearance.
This method prevents moisture from accumulating behind the panels, making it ideal for interior, climate-controlled spaces or warm climates, where freeze/thaw cycles are not a concern.
